Ibanez SR305 custom bass

A very beautiful bass has passed through the Esprit Guitare lutherie workshop! 😉

It’s an Ibanez SR305 5-string bass that was customized by its owner with an active Nordstrand Pickups kit. It went to the workshop for a complete overhaul and repair of the electronics. Disassembly and good cleaning of the faulty potentiometers solved most of the problem. A new ground wiring plan and a repair of the jack socket solved the last defects.

Then, partial fret leveling of the neck, polishing of the frets, hydration and maintenance of the fingerboard for the neck. New strings, full adjustment (neck, saddles) for ultra low action. Correction of intonation and a polish for class 🙂

Here she is ready to face long hours of rehearsal/concert!! 😉
