A quick trip to the Esprit Guitare workshop for this splendid Epiphone! 😉
On the program: complete overhaul, a small modification and a major cleaning.
We start with the neck: partial fret leveling, polishing of the frets, maintenance of the neck and check of the tuners (it’s Grover, so no worries). Next, check the electronics. The microphone selector needed a little work, but the rest is perfect. We remove the second stereo jack and plug the corresponding hole, at the owner’s request.
Then complete cleaning, in particular the tailpiece and the tune o’matic, and a good sprucing up of the body’s varnish.
New strings, action and intonation adjustment and off we go for testing! 🙂
It’s beautiful, it shines, it sounds great… What more could you ask for? 😉
