Hohner Steinberger G2T guitar

Here is a very unusual guitar, under repair at Esprit Guitare: one of the very first “headless”, guitars without a head (and with a body reduced to the strict minimum…), the Hohner Steinberger G2T 😉

She arrived in “reconstruction” mode at the workshop. Painting completely redone by hand (obviously by a “non-professional”…), neck and fingerboard to be completely overhauled… and electronics non-existent, apart from two microphones whose wires were cut, let’s say… very short 😉

For the moment, its owner only wanted to redo the electronics. So assembly according to the original diagram, quite simple: volume, tone and microphone selector.

It’s done, it sounds damn good despite the condition of the strings and the neck! 🙂
