Lag Tramontane Guitar
A beautiful Lag Tramontane went to Esprit Guitare 😉
Overview of this Lag Tramontane
This pretty Lag Tramontane doesn’t play often. However, it really needed a major overhaul and, above all, a good adjustment. As with many folk guitars, the action was too high for optimal playing comfort. Enough to slow down more than one person when it comes to doing exercises 😉
Work completed
We start with the neck: control of fret leveling, polishing of the frets, maintenance and hydration of the fingerboard. Then we move on to the easel. He also needs hydration. We reduce the height of the bridge saddle to begin adjusting the action.
Then we can move on to cleansing the body. Finally, we install new strings and adjust the action setting by adjusting the truss rod and the height of the bridge nut.
Conclusion
Once properly adjusted, it is a very good guitar. It sounds round and full acoustically. Once connected, we find a little more attack and finesse. Lots of dynamics. It’s very nice 😉
