Squier Precision Bass
A nice bass Squier Precision Bass went to Esprit Guitare 😉
Introducing the Squier Precision Bass
We have already mentioned the brand Squier, which is a sub-brand of Fender. Their reputation is not always very good. This is the problem with brands limited to the entry level, but it is not always justified. The proof with this one. This model is a copy (if we can really call it that, since it is the same manufacturer) of the Fender Precision Bass, from which she even borrows the name.
Work completed
This one didn’t need much work. No lutherie, no repair. A simple revision.
A check of the electronics, a good cleaning and polishing of the body to start. Then we check the frets and give them a polish. Then we take care of the maintenance: cleaning and hydration. This is important for the lifespan of the wood. Finally, we mount new strings to adjust: neck and bridge (truss rod and saddles for action and intonation).
Conclusion
An excellent bass! It plays fast, it’s precise and fine and it sounds as round as we hope 🙂
