Esprit Guitare is a partner of D’Addario
The lutherie workshop Esprit Guitare has just signed a partnership agreement with the famous American string manufacturer D’Addario.
Who is D’Addario ?
Founded in 1974 by the D’ familyAddario, the eponymous company has spanned the decades as a pioneer in the string and musical accessory manufacturing industry, leaving a lasting imprint through its commitment to quality, innovation and passion for music.
Among the famous artists who use the D stringsAddario, we can cite: Gary CLark Jr., Nita Straus (Alice Cooper), Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, The Aristocrats) and others.
And how does this concern me?
They are also pioneering a project to recycle guitar strings.
This project began in the United States under the name “Play Back”.
In addition to our collaboration on ropes, I am currently in discussions with them to expand this program to Martinique. I will keep you informed of progress if this idea manages to come to fruition.
In the meantime, Esprit Guitare will be able to equip your favorite guitars with D’strings.Addario for your revisions or your various works.
The major asset for the Antilles lies in their latest flagship innovation: the D’ strings.Addario XS.
Equipped with a coating, they offer increased protection and durability, while preserving shine, sustain and playing comfort. At least, that’s the promise on paper.
It is very likely that I will try them and provide you with feedback on these new strings.
