Esprit Guitare rewarded with the “Répar’Acteurs” label! (March 2023)

The lutherie workshop Esprit Guitare was approached by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Martinique in order to participate in the Répar’Acteurs label.

Esprit Guitare was already committed to an eco-responsible approach, minimizing the use of replacing parts with new ones as much as possible. The objective of reusing original parts whenever possible has always been at the center of the activity, for reasons of cost for the customer, for reasons of conservation of the authentic and original character of the instrument, but also largely for environmental reasons. Indeed, the vast majority of guitar spare parts are imported, by plane, from the United States or Asia after having transited through mainland France (this is the disadvantage of living on an island). With an astronomical carbon footprint!

So the heart of the concept proposed by the Répar’Acteurs label was already there from the beginning. It remained to make some adjustments to waste sorting and all the criteria were met.

The label award ceremony took place today, in the premises of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Martinique.
