Fender FMT-HH Guitar

Overview of this Fender FMT-HH

A splendid and rare Fender FMT-HH went to the Esprit Guitare workshop!
This is a limited edition Telecaster. With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers (like my famous Godin LG Limited Edition 😉 ). Some small electronic problems are reported by the owner. So let’s take a closer look.

Work completed

We start with electronics, then. A problem of sputtering on the knobs and especially the selector which is a little capricious. We take it all apart, clean the copper tracks and put it all back together: it works well. Cool, no parts to change, then.

Then, we move on to the complete overhaul: cleaning, polishing, hydrating and maintaining the fingerboard, polishing the frets and partial fret leveling, dismantling and cleaning the bridge, installing new strings, adjusting the action and intonation and working on the truss rod and saddles. And there you have it!

Conclusion

It’s a crazy guitar!! It sounds super versatile and at the same time, we find the typical Telecaster touch! It’s beautiful and it sounds serious! What more could you ask for?
