Fender Telecaster US Guitar

Overview of this Fender Telecaster

A splendid Fender Telecaster American Pro HS US in Daphne Blue dress came for a service at the Esprit Guitare violin workshop. First problem noted: the jack support no longer holds very well. Then the setting must be reviewed. Finally, the selector switch is a little capricious… Let’s take a closer look at all this.

Work completed

First step: electronics. We start by doing a good dusting of the cavity which contains the passive electronics of this beauty. Then, complete disassembly of the switch, cleaning of the tracks and reassembly. Test: OK. That’s it: no need to replace it. Next, we move on to the jack support. A little complicated on Telecasters because it is held by a metal plate forced into the wood…. Complicated, but not infeasible. So, it’s fixed!
Finally, we move on to the general overhaul: checks of the mechanics, check of the screws, check of the fret leveling, cleaning and polishing, polishing of the frets, installation of new strings and adjustment of the truss rod and saddles for low action and perfect intonation.

Conclusion

The ramage pays homage to the plumage of this beautiful bird! It’s a TV that sounds like a TV! An inimitable and extraordinary sound. The handle is soft and fast! It’s an excellent guitar that has regained its youth!
