Ibanez AEG10 Guitar

This pretty Ibanez AEG10 went to the Esprit Guitare workshop for a review/adjustment session.

These 3/4 body guitars are very interesting from the point of view of playing comfort and the particular sound that their small body gives them.

So, after a good cleaning, we go through the polishing of the frets and maintenance of the neck and the fingerboard (which seriously needed it). the adjustment part was crucial on this guitar which had become unplayable due to the action being much too high. Yes, guitars are wooden instruments, therefore living. And so their geometry evolves with time, humidity, temperature, the tension of the ropes.

Once properly adjusted, by working on the bridge nut and the truss rod, this guitar is playable again. And even very pleasant to play 🙂

The Esprit Guitare lutherie workshop welcomes you by appointment for maintenance, repair, setup or customization of guitars, bass, ukulele and more 😉
