G&L L-2000 Bass
Overview of this G&L L-2000
This somewhat rare bass is a G&L L-2000. It was developed in the 80s by Léo Fender. This one is in very good condition and requires little work.
Work completed
It went to the Esprit Guitare workshop for a complete overhaul and adjustment.
After a good cleaning (especially the magnificent bridge), we move on to polishing the frets. Checking the electronics, some tightening of screws on the mechanics. Then install new strings, adjust the curvature of the neck, the action and the intonation. Finally, adjusting the height of the microphones and testing.
Conclusion
It sounds really good. It’s round, with a clean attack and good sustain. Very good bass!
