Westone Rainbow I guitar, the return
This magnificent Westone Rainbow I returned to the Esprit Guitare lutherie workshop for another revision.
Overview of this Westone Rainbow I
Yes, it’s a new visit for this pretty guitar. It already went to the workshop a few months ago for a first revision. It belongs to a professional musician who therefore uses it a lot, since it’s his job 😉
In addition to normal wear and tear, it has suffered a small problem since its last visit: the loss of an intonation adjustment screw.
Work completed
The first thing to do was find an adaptable intonation screw.
Then complete cleaning and polishing, hydration and maintenance of the fingerboard, polishing of the frets, microphone covers and bridge. Finally, installation of new strings and complete adjustment (action and intonation).
Conclusion
This Westone does not age. She’s 40 years old and she sounds beautiful. Plus, she’s gorgeous. 🙂
